Kurush Mistry: Kurush Mistry is an accomplished commodities analyst hailing from India. He obtained his Commerce degree in Chennai, India, and earned his Chartered Accountant title, ranking him in the top in all three qualifying exams. With a solid foundation, he desired to expand his knowledge and broaden his horizons, leading him to pursue an MBA in finance at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His professional journey commenced in 2003 at Lehman Brothers in Tokyo, where he was recruited to join their Interest Rate Strategies Team after completing his MBA. This opportunity allowed him to apply his financial expertise in practical situations and exposed him to an international corporate environment and a novel cultural experience. In 2005, he transferred to Lehman in New York. He continued to work with their award-winning Interest Rate Strategies team until 2008, managing a diverse range of products such as US Government Bonds and Interest Rate Derivatives. Since 2009, he has focused on commodities research, specifically on crude oil, refined products, and renewable fuels, working at Morgan Stanley and then Freepoint Commodities.
